AI Receptionist for Salons in New England

A stylist with foils in a guest's hair cannot pick up the phone. The receptionist answers, books the real service length, and texts you a summary.

  • Books the length that service actually takes
  • Respects a stylist request when that stylist has an opening
  • Does not invent prices or promise a chemical service you have not agreed to book by phone

This salon line

No-shows and the next person waiting

  • When a guest does not show, that chair time can be released and offered to someone waiting to rebook, if you turn that on.

  • A caller who missed their appointment can take the next opening that fits the service.

On a Saturday, every stylist is with a guest and the front desk, if there is one, is checking someone out.

The call is a request for a balayage with a specific stylist, a men's cut before work on Monday, or a question about whether you take a walk-in. The phone rings at the station. Nobody can reach it. The guest calls the next salon.

Triphammer sets up an AI receptionist that answers while your team stays with the person in the chair.

  • It answers while your team stays with the person in the chair.

  • It books the service for the length that service actually takes.

  • It respects stylist requests when that stylist has an opening.

  • It texts a confirmation. You get a summary.

  • Callers are told they are speaking with an automated receptionist.

There is not a separate salon demo number. Call the general line on this page and tell her you run a salon or spa. The receptionist does not invent prices, and it does not promise a correction or a chemical service your stylists have not agreed to book by phone.

How the setup goes

  1. 01

    We learn the book.

Service lengths, stylist rules, what can be booked after hours, and what must wait for a person.

  2. 02

We write the script in your salon's voice.

Callers hear that it is automated. The questions match what your desk already asks.

  3. 03

We turn it on over your current number.

The appointment lands on the calendar you use. You can step in on any call.

On the script

The rest of what the receptionist covers.

  • Haircuts booked for the length you set, not a generic half hour
  • Color and highlight requests that land in a consult or a longer block
  • Requests for a named stylist, with another opening offered if you allow it
  • Reschedules when a guest cannot make the time they already have
  • After-hours calls that would otherwise be a Monday voicemail pile
  • A text to the guest and a summary to the salon

Where the calls get lost

The problems owners describe.

The service and the phone happen at the same time.

Color processing does not pause because the line is ringing. If the only way to book is to interrupt a guest, the booking does not happen.

Color is not a haircut slot.

A 30-minute opening cannot hold a highlight. If the phone books the wrong length, the book looks full and the day runs late. The receptionist has to know the difference because you wrote it down.

Guests ask for a person, not a chair.

"Anything with Alex on Thursday" is the actual request. Booking them with whoever is free, when they named someone, creates a cancellation later. The script should ask, and should follow the rule you set when that person is booked.

Sunday night is when people plan the week.

The call comes after the salon is dark. A recording that lists your Tuesday hours does not put them on the book. By Monday the guest has already found a time somewhere else.

Questions

Before you book the call.

How much does an AI receptionist for a salon cost?

For a salon, Answer covers the phones and after-hours calls. Answer + Follow-Up adds review requests and texting. Full Front Desk adds appointment reminders, cancellation and waitlist fill, and seasonal reactivation. Answer: $299 setup · $249/mo. Answer + Follow-Up: $790 setup · $449/mo. Full Front Desk: $1,490 setup · $699/mo. A one-time setup fee plus a flat monthly plan, month-to-month with no long-term contract. Final price quoted after a free 15-minute call.

How does pricing work?

Every project starts with a one-time setup fee, then a flat monthly plan. Plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. The amounts shown are the plan prices, and your final price is quoted after a free 15-minute call.

Will callers know they are talking to AI?

Yes. It tells them. Most callers care more that someone answered and that the next step is clear. It follows the script you approve.

What if it gets something wrong?

You can see the calls, and a person can step in at any time. You decide what should be passed to your team right away. We do not claim it never makes a mistake.

Do I keep my phone number?

Yes. The receptionist works with the phone number and calendar you already have. You do not need a new phone system.

Can I pause it in the off-season?

You can pause for up to 6 months and keep your number and settings, then pick up where you left off.

Can it handle spa services and hair in one salon?

Yes, if you define the services and the lengths. A massage block and a haircut block stay different because you said so.

Will it discount or quote a color price?

No. Money stays with your team. The receptionist books the time and names the service.
